Every review on AdminToolz follows the same protocol. It is published here so you can check our work, and so vendors know exactly what to expect before a launch.
Step 1. We secure real account access
Before we write a single line, we buy a licence or request a review seat from the vendor. The test then runs inside a working account, not on a demo video or a pre-recorded webinar.
When a vendor declines to provide access and the product is not available for purchase, the article is labelled as a preview, it carries no score, and the missing access is stated in the first paragraph.
Step 2. We test the advertised features
We take the sales page claim by claim and run each one in the dashboard. Output quality, speed, limits, export options and integrations are recorded with unedited screenshots, and with a screen recording whenever the tool allows it.
We also note what is missing: features listed as coming soon, limits that are not mentioned on the sales page, and third-party accounts you need to pay for separately before the tool becomes useful.
Step 3. We map the full funnel and its prices
Most launches in this market sell a low front-end price and place the real value behind upsells. Every review therefore lists:
- the front-end price and whether it is a one-time payment or a subscription;
- every OTO or upsell, with its price and what it unlocks;
- the refund window and the conditions attached to it;
- the commercial or agency rights included, if any.
Step 4. We score against a fixed grid
The same criteria apply to every product, so scores can be compared across reviews:
- Ease of use: how fast a new buyer reaches a usable result.
- Output quality: whether what the tool produces is good enough to publish or deliver to a client.
- Accuracy of the sales claims: how much of the promise holds up in the account.
- Value for money: the full funnel price against what competitors charge.
- Support and stability: response time, documentation, and how the tool behaves under normal use.
Scores are given out of 10. A product that fails the accuracy criterion cannot receive a recommendation, whatever the rest of the grid says.
Step 5. We update, correct or retract after publication
Software changes. We revisit reviews when a product is updated, when support collapses, or when readers report a problem we can reproduce. Corrections are logged at the bottom of the article with a date, never applied silently.
If a product is withdrawn from sale or turns out to be misleading, the review is updated with a clear warning rather than deleted.
What we never do
- We do not accept payment for a score, a ranking or a mention.
- We do not publish reviews written or edited by the vendor.
- We do not copy a sales page and present it as a test.
- We do not hide the affiliate relationship. See the affiliate disclosure.
